Oklahoma team serves clients spanning four generations
To say that a financial group of seven, including three CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals, with the second most assets under management in Oklahoma, and a combined 124 years of experience and 11 college degrees is qualified to handle investments might be a bit of an understatement. But while Eagleton Brown Investment Group, LLC looks great on paper, it is actually their relationships with families in their hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, that puts them a cut above the competition.
“One of the things that’s unique about our practice is that we help multiple generations of the same family,” said Jim Eagleton, senior financial advisor. “We have a lot of families where we’ve helped them for four generations. Every advisor would like to help someone with a million or 2 million dollars. Not many want to help a 22-year-old with thousands of dollars in student debt and no assets, but we do. We strive to help grow our clients wealth regardless of size.”
Jim’s brother, Paul, also a senior financial advisor at Eagleton Brown Investment Group, adds, “When we have a client pass away, our assets typically increase because of our multigenerational service style, where we help the entire family. We don’t do it because we have to, but because we love helping them. We think the younger we get to work with them, the more we can change their lives. It’s very satisfying work to get kids on the path to success.”
Helping all of these families over the years has led to the group acquiring more than 2,000 households of clientele. Serving that many clients would be challenging for some, but the group has invested in technology that streamlines the process and makes a simpler process for them.
That technology includes Client Dashboard, provided by Wells Fargo Advisors, that tracks personal information for the clients as well as when they need to be contacted.
“I can’t emphasize enough how important that Client Dashboard is for us,” Paul said. “We have all sorts of information in there, including any personal situations our clients might have, what their next financial goal might be and who their family members are. This tool has given us the ability to automate our business. It is effortless for us once we get our clients’ information in there. It’s a spectacular system that has helped us serve thousands of clients.”
This tool is one of the many resources provided by WFAFN that the practice takes advantage of, and one of the reasons the group decided to switch to WFAFN six years ago.
“WFAFN has created an environment where we can come to work and do our job,” Jim said. “Competitors cannot not replicate what WFAFN offers when it comes to the product mix and pricing. WFAFN is small enough where we know upper management on a first name basis and they know us. They also give us amazing resources (like the technology). It’s the best possible situation for us where we can talk to management personally, but they also give us all the resources we need.”
“Our clients are hiring the people in our office, but they expect us to put their money with the best firm,” Paul adds. “We believe we have done that by choosing WFAFN.”
Investment products and services are offered through Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, LLC (WFAFN). Eagleton Brown Investment Group is a separate entity from WFAFN.
